Ok I have a avia to home theater dvd disk, now i think i fix some overscanning issues using HSIZ, HPOS, VSUZ etc etc on my kv-30hs420 had running a ps3 through hdmi input #7 at 1080i, but now what exact test patterns or sections in the avia disk i should use to correct some alignment issues like when i see the screen at the playstation store home page, the blue square boxes etc arent aligned kinda warpy and not squared. Thanks...

If you went into the television's service menu to change the overscan then your "kinda warpy and not squared" is a result of that overcan adjustment.
Overscan adjustment affects the geometry.
Avia cannot correct the geometry issue that you have created by adjusting the television's overscan.

You must correct geometry in the service menu.

If you wrote down the values for HSIS, HPOS etc., then you can return to the service menu, change the values back to what they were and thusly return the overscan to what was beforehand. The geometry will then be corrected.

A little investigation of geometry on your part and you will be ready to again reduce overscan and then correct the geometry.

pctek, I've left the overscan at factory levels on my Panasonic crt tv.
I rationalize my decision by noting that the station identification bugs are right down in the corner of the screen this way. (Really though, I just don't want to do the work in order to learn how to do overscan reduction and geometry adjustments.)
