I have finally decided that I will go for an Epson projector. The panasonic projector was my first choice, but after hearing many horror stories and the limited avalability and price difference in Canada I'm gonna go Epson. MY question is however, deciding between these two. Is there really a difference? as the specs are almost identical.

Epson Home Cinema 720

vs

Epson Pro Cinema 810

Besides the different casing, what are the pros and cons of each of these? The price between both of them are relatively similar differeing only by a few hundred.

Any input is great.

Also, how do these compare to the SONY AW15?

I'm down to these same three choices.
Can anyone compare these?

If you look in the HC720 threads, you'll see that only one or two members here have actually received one of these so far, so, you'll probably have to wait for Art's review at projectorrevews ( hopefully shortly ) to get a meaningful opinion.

You can read Art's review of the HC400 and it will give you a good idea what the 720 will be able to do. I think the main difference between the two is the 400 has 5,000 to 1 and the 720 has 10,000 to 1 contrast.

I was just saying the 400 got a very good review and the 720 is an improvement on the 400. Also Epsom has good customer service reputation and Epson provides you with a projector while yours is being worked on (during two warranty period).:)
