Was curious if the newly released Japanese Blu-ray disc had an English language track or english subtitles on the disc? I'd hate to throw down $90 on this release if I can't really watch it. Thanks in advance.

I hope there really is some unmentioned foreign language tracks in here somewhere.

As Sony has the US/UK rights I kinda' doubt this will be English friendly.

This is a movie I'd love to see on Blu Ray - I recall a while back that it was announced for the format but then seemed to disappear off the radar.

I thought it was supposed to be a US/UK release earlier this year. I even recall seeing the UK coverart:

Hopefully it still makes it out (to Region A) in English. I'd spent the $80 for it.

Agreed! One of the best anime movies of all time for me!

That Japanese Art cover is really cool. I hope they use that one for the US release.

AFAIK the UK version only has an English language track. There's no original language track (Japanese) if you can believe it.
