Right now, I am running a PEARL on a 96 in. carada bw screen and am thinking about whether i should switch to a dalite hp to make the most of these dimming bulbs.

Can someone who has working knowledge of the hp viewing cone comment on whether that screen will hotspot in my room?

The projector is 2-3 feet overhead, the screen is about 9.5 ft. away from first row eyes... more info can be found in the link in my sig.

THANKS!

Should work great for the back row, will still be decent for front row. If you can use a different bar to lower it a little more it would be perfect for HP, I'd consider going with a larger screen at that point as well.

I would DEFINITELY lower the unit. The Hi Power works best when it is close to being inline with your eyes/projector. At 2-3' above, you will not take all that much advantage of the unit and thus "upgrading" may prove to give you little change. However, if you can lower the projector, that would be a good thing.

My PJ sits approx 18" above my eyes, and at a viewing distance of 10ft, HP works really well.
