To the mods: I thought this would be the most helpful place to post this. If you think it would be better served somewhere else, please move it (but not to the trash :) ).

As I am about to pull the trigger on a 50" Pio Kuro Elite (thanks to John Marty from Axxis, Roman from Invision from this site and one local B&M distributor for being so helpful), I came upon this useful link to help the consumer to decide if the panel will suit their needs.

Here is the NIST's home page on flat panel tech: http://www.fpdl.nist.gov/. Very informative. I hope this helps out some buyers.

PS-Does any one know how to export images from a pdf file to a USB? Is there a way to do that? (I'd like to run these through the showroom Kuro Elite if possible).

It's not "the NIST", just NIST.

glad to help

It was very gracious of you to give me that impromptu lesson in grammar instead of focusing on the topic of the thread.

Allow me to reciprocate. Typically a sentence should be ended with a period. Here is what one looks like:'.'.

I am also glad to help.
