I just got around to ordering Crank, and I got it new from Amazon (actually from Amazon.com, not a 3rd party reseller). The packaging I received was pretty weird however. It came in the slipcover, but the shrinkwrapping actually covered the slipcover and the case inside - normally the slipcover is over the shrinkwrapped case. There were security stickers on the top and bottom, but not the side. Weirdest of all, the case is a 2-disc case, with the 2nd hub obviously empty (it was initially covered with the stupid Blu-ray advertisement slip).

Has anyone else purchased Crank in this condition, or does this seem to be a factory hiccup? I'm always suspicious when I receive odd packaging, and I worry about piracy or foul play - but I figure that's pretty improbable given that I got it directly from Amazon.

It was probably just them using available stock of 2-disc cases.

I wish we could order these cases, because I have some titles I'd like to make my own special editions out of, with the BD and the second DVD of a 2-disc set.
