i have one simple question, can anyone tell me if the DMR-EZ37VK in fact does have a component input for recording? Does anyone know if this unit has any discrete functions available anywhere. Preferably in hex format. I've looked on panny's website and looked at the instructions and it does not show a component input as the instructions are general and not model specific. i want to order this but don't want to be upset if it doesn't have component input. Would like some discrete functions such as power and maybe input. But i'll settle for just component input. If anyone could chime in, that would be more than appreciated

It absolutely does not have component input. No current model DVD recorder does.
