Which studio current HDM catalogue do you like better? Universal or Paramount?

For BD owners only.

Please - no discussion as to when or if they will become available. Thanks.

Considering Paramount has released so little up to this point, I definitely have to say Universal.

And the purpose of this poll is? Are you in a position to make either of these catalogues available to BD owners? Not meaning to be rude or anything...I just don't see how polls such as this serve any purpose other than to instigate pointless arguing amongst members.

It's tough because the majority of the movies in my collection on SD are from both of these 2 studios. I just might have to give the slight nod to Paramount with franchises like Indiana Jones, Beverly Hills Cop, Friday The 13th, and Star Trek.

I agree that this thread is misplaced, it would make more sense to move it to the HD DVD software section

This is pointless u cant get any of the movies from either of these 2 5000+ movie studios in bd.

HV DVD users already have access to these titles so I don't care too much about their opinions. I am interested in knowing which studio BD owners think is more worthwhile wrt to their current HDM releases.

Mostly interested in opinions based on currently released titles.

Most of those titles aren't out yet and there aren't any announcement as to when they will come to HDM.

There are in fact 29 movies from Paramount that you can get on Blu-ray.

Well I'm not too up-to-date on who put out which movies, but basing it off my DVD collection of movies I would double dip on, Universal squeaks out ahead of Paramount by about 2 or 3 movies :p.

As far as quality goes though, I've heard bad things about Universal and EE, etc.
