I am trying to do screen captures of the Cars Blu Ray disc on my computer. I am playing it back on PowerDVD HD. It does not allow screen capture. Print screen doesn't work either. Is there any way to do screen captures? What software?

I am guessing that you can "pause" playback and snap a high rez pix from a digital camera or phone.

I actually want a program that does it. I don't want to take a picture of the screen.

I use dedicated software for this, but even it requires that I turn off hardware acceleration to do video captures. Before you do the print screen: right click on your desktop>properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot>set hardware acceleration to "off".
