Check that out. Wild, huh? I wonder what it'll be?
Has anyone checked out the movie section on Look and Sound of Perfect lately? I've been really surprised at how much better it's gotten just since the site's relaunch. Great selection of trailers, cover art and releases.
Cartman: Dude, check it out! "Time Cop" on DVD. Three copies for eighteen bucks!
Kyle: Why the hell would you want three copies of the same movie?
Cartman: Because one copy is nine ninety-eight! But this way you save like twenty bucks!
Kyle: You only need one copy, r-tard!
Cartman: Okay, fine, dumb ass, YOU go ahead and buy one copy for nine ninety-eight!
Kyle: Okay, fine, I will! (grabs a copy) Wait a minute - I don't even want ONE copy of Time Cop! (puts it back)
Cartman: Dude, you can't shop for crap.
Van Damme, time traveling with a mullet. Oh, yeah....

What are you talking about? There's no mention of web enabled extras or anything other than the typical real time menus that are on every HD-DVD.
Yeah, I don't think there's going to be any of that. Just the marketing info on the MENU navigation and MY SCENES (which should be replaced by bookmarks so I don't have to start the film/episode in order to access, otherwise allow it to be accessed before starting).

No mention, huh? So, I'm imagining this?
Sure you don't want to look one more time? Maybe?

I'm thinking it'll be more along the lines of downloadable trailers, like Evan Almighty and Knocked Up had. Just a guess though, assuming it's not a mistake.
Ya, ok. I didn't notice that. I was looking at the section where extra features are listed. Every other title that has web features listed that fact in the "HD-DVD Features" section of the product listing:

Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is with Time Cop. If you go to the title view(the long list of all titles) it has it listed outside there, which is the only reason I even noticed it. Clicking on the movie, I attempted to see if they had any talk of what said content would actually be. All that's shown is that snippet in the corner. It's possible it's a mistake. I was just wondering if anyone had noticed it.
I really like the downloadable trailers and whatnot, so be it extra movie content or trailers, I'd be glad to see either. They ought to start making it a mandatory feature for every Universal title.
Yeah if you look it has the same icon next to Mobsters and also The Pianist. Strange for them to do this on catalog titles. I would guess like everyone else its just to access downloadable trailers and stuff. Funny that they show that next to these catalog titles but not their new releases like Eastern Promises and Balls of Fury of which we know will have these features.
Digital Man5 12-03-07, 10:37 PM There's still work to be done, but my buddy Bel visits the site pretty frequently since its redesign and said that they've fixed quite a few mistakes(having the Cradle of Life trailer for TR1, Mission Impossible 1 trailer for the Ult. Missions Collection, etc), added a LOT of new titles and are now constantly uploading trailers for stuff they never had trailers for before(Brokeback Mountain, Freedom Writers, etc).
There is still work to be done though, like you mention. One thing he and I have both noticed is that they have a trailer for White Noise: The Light in the White Noise(1) section, and then don't have WN:TL listed at all. Every day, though, he says they clean up stuff like this.
Bravo for the new LaSoP, it's SO. MUCH. BETTER. than the old site. ;)
