Can someone tell me why imports have DTS-HD Master Audio and the US title's don't. somethings not right. just wondering

Its the choice of the studio(s). Just one of those things you have to deal with. Much like DVD titles getting much more elaborate Special Editions overseas, the company decides to put more value into the release. I dont think most people purchasing a DVD even notice what type of soundtracks it has. Its usually only the enthusiasts who actually know what to look for and want this one or that one. We are such a small population (as we can see from HDM sales) that companies might not be willing to put the extra work into every release to give us the Hi Rez audio.

Most US titles if they have lossless audio use Dolby True HD which soudds the same as DTS MA.

There are not that many. Mainly Canal+ releases, and many of those are not even out on HD DVD in US.
