My Mit. 73734 seems to be displaying what I think is halo effects. In a dark background, with a light object shown such as a face, there is a white shadow shown on the dark background. In fact, the halo effect is to the extent that it continues onto the top and bottom black bars on the 2:35:1 material.

Any good links where I can read up on this phenomenon? Any advice on this matter from the good folk here?
