I have a JP1 remote that I programmed years ago. I know have a new TV, XBOX 360, and other equipment. I remember how much of a pain it was to setup my remote with the user-unfriendly apps created for JP1. Has anything changed? I checked my old resources, and they still show the same app.

I know it Harmony remotes are very easy to setup, but Id rather not spend the money if I dont have to. Any suggestions?
