I have a SA8300HD box from TWC, with the Silver RT-U63CP-1.125 remote. Just got it.

I have a Toshiba 65M167 65" DLP Tv. I have it programmed using one of the listed codes in the remotes list. However, I cannot use the menu or settings button, which I need access too.

I also have a Sony 5disk DVD/Home Theatre System, DAV-FX10. I cannot find any codes to get it to work at all with this remote.

I would like to use the Audio system as the main audio, and not use the TV's speakers at all. But by default, when you press the volume button, it raises the TV's volume.

Anyone think they can help me? I have done a couple basic searches, but nothing helpful or relevant popped up.

I would buy a decent multi-function remote. Check above listed forum for details. As I haven't bought one in years.

Did you get your reply about the volume control from the other thread? If not,
I can send you the directions of how to move a key function from one device
to another device on the remote. This works not only for volume, but for
many other key functions. I did this with the silver remote with my SA8300.
