i've recently gotten a 57 in projection tv as a gift and dont talk to the person anymore. I've found out after replacing one lamp in the tv for $220 that the tv is defective from the manufacturer( after the lamp burnt out AGAIN.) I dont have the proof of purchase, and they won't fix it without it. What can I do to get these jerks to fix it. I refuse to pay 400-700 for them to fix it when its clearly their mistake, i also feel that i should be reimbursed for the lamp i had to replace the first time. Someone please help!:( you may contact me at my email
mminx74@yahoo.com Thanx for any info regarding my sistuation

I have a Mitsubishi 65", WD-Y65, purchased from Circuit City March 27, 2007 and is still under warranty. The set won't come on and has been that way for 6 weeks. A technician from Norman's electronics left today after bringing a capacitor kit that didn't fix the problem and said it was a DM Assembly board that needs to be replaced and had no idea how much longer it would take to get this part after waiting this long. I've called Mitsubishi and been placed on hold for hours at a time and get nowhere but promises of a call back that never comes. I can't even get the repair shop to ever answer the phones. I have a $2200 dust collector and wonder will it ever be fixed. Circuit City is also useless! Any suggestions???
