I've emailed motorola support but haven't heard back. Does anyone know if audio comes out of all the audio connects at the same time or are the others turned off when one is in use. For instance the optical and coaxial digital out or digital and analog out?

I ran the optical to my theater system and analog straight to my TV set with no issues other than a slight time delay.

Cool. That sounds like this will work for me then. Basically I want to run my 6412s into a matrix switcher for my televisions. Some are set up with a A/V receiver with 5.1 while others are just straight component with analog audio. Just need to pick out a switcher that can switch the audio seperate from the video.
