Hi folks,

I have been using an Airware and MyFi at different times, analog attached to my HT pre/pro for a couple of years.

i just got an Integra 9.8 pre/pro that is XM ready, so I bought the mini-tuner and home dock.

WOW is all I can say. the imaging and presence of XM material is a night a day difference through the Integra. I'm sure it's attributed to the DACs in the Integra that are in a different league from the portable units...

Certainly not CD quality, but it is extremely good. I like XM even more now.;)

how is the metadata display though? how many lines & characters? how is the display output on TV/Zone2?

when a station changes or a new song comes on the existing station, I get a full update on my main and Zone2 screens, for about 10 seconds.

the display on the preamp is a little bit of a bummer.

with the Airware, I always had the display showing the artist and the song.

the top line of the preamp always shows the station id and number. you can't change it.

the 2nd line changes each time you push the display button: artist, song title, genre.

However, the incredible difference in sound is more than worth the inconvenience of the front panel display....
