I'm starting to have a problem with my Sony rear projection TV. Occasionally, the picture will start to go.
It looks like lines are going across the screen horizontally and moving vertically. The picture loses the correct color contrast and turns a bluish/purple and sometimes goes black and white while all of this happens.
I'm not sure how else to describe this and I realize this is entirely vague, I'm just wondering if anyone might have any suggestions as to what this might be? Overheating? Bulb going out? Just the TV getting old and worn out?
It's a Sony KP43T70 fwiw.
