Does anyone know of a way to program a button on the comcast remote to control a toshiba hl67's aspect ratios, perhaps the hd zoom button? I would like to use the comcast remote to stretch 4:3 hd to theaterwide without having to dig for the tv remote.

What setup code are you using for the TV? Assuming you are using setup code TV/0156 or TV/1256 (or TV/10156 or TV/11256, depending on your remote), you should be able to program apect function to the hd zoom button by following procedure:

1. Press and release TV device key
2. Press and hold SETUP until the remote blinks twice
3. Type 9 9 4
4. Press and release SETUP
5. Type 0 0 1 0 0
6. Press and release HD ZOOM key
The remote should blink twice

You can see some other advanced codes to use in this page (http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/ueic.cgi?TV_0156) (you need to add 2 zeros in front of the listed codes to enter 5 digit codes that the Comcast remote accepts).

If you are using a different setup code for the TV, the code you enter might be different.
