I have a question I'm hoping someone can help with.

I have two tv's in the basement - both of the same make/model. Each is connected to it's own cable box (both the same make/model). Is there something I can get that will allow me to use the one remote and somehow select which box to control (even though they are the same make/model) and only have 1 tv respond?

I'm not sure if this makes sense, and would be happy to elaborate if needed.

Thank you!

Ok, I'll take a shot. What you need is a remote to transmit to a base staion via RF and then have the base staion route the commands to the proper device.

I like URC, go with a MX-900 ( you could use a cheaper remote, but the MX-900 is the cheapest that will work with the MSC-400, which you don't need for this job, but might want in the future ) and then a reliable base station such as a MRF-350.

Program the remote, and assign each device to a different emmiter on the MRF-350. Don't forget to turn off the IR on the remote for these devices. Done.

Salin's way will work. PLUS you get one great remote too!

Thank you! So initially, I could get away with a MX-900 and a MRF-350 - and could eventually ad the MSC-400 to the mix?
