There have been some threads lately....
New owers?
You should not make a total evaluation of the format by only viewing the titles you get free.
Considering purchasing an HD-DVD player?
If you are going to just throw in the free titles or compare to make a total evaluation or only compare with SD-DVD titles? Then you should save your money and stick with SD.
In general, if your not the type to be willing to work a little at getting the better PQ and Audio that HDM can offer? I'd also say save your money.
I would also add that if you don't notice a vast difference in PQ from your current SD-DVD player to your current HD content then don't expect a vast difference from your SD-DVD to HD-DVD.
The vast majority of people are satisfied with what HDM is bringing to the table, but it really may not be for everybody.
