I have an important ESPNHD baseball game saved on my Moto 6412 from Comcast. It takes up a lot of space so I'd like to copy it to a DVD.

What are my options? I tried capturing it with CapDVHS over firewire to my laptop, but it would only capture about a second of video. The file would grow, and the data information section in the program was filled, but the .ts file was unwatchable. I'm assuming this is because of a 5c flag?

What can I do to be able to watch this game? We were planning on getting rid of this DVR for a better model, but not until I can get the game off it.

Well I don't care about it being in HD, so is that really an option? I have a VIVO card on my desktop that would probably work then.

If you don't care about HD, then yes you should be able to capture it in real time using the composite output or svideo out of the DVR to your video card. Should output in downconverted 480i, so you will keep 16:9 ratio.
