I have been disappointed with this set's lack of a good black level since i bought it 2 yrs ago.. well, i finally had to replace the lamp and now any dark screen (and screen with no signal) is washed out.. the left side of the screen has a washed out green tint and the black level is brighter than i'm used to... please see the pic below.. any comments are welcome!

My HD-52Z575 is about 3 years old and has the same issue. It has slowly progressed in time. I keep thinking that maybe the lens or something needs cleaning but haven't got in to it. I'm really disappointed in the way the picture has deteriorated over time. I'm thinking of buying a new Sony SXRD version. But I'm afraid it too may suffer from the same issue over time. The new LED sets just don't impress me much. They can't seem to handle motion well. I think the LCoS are best out there for now if they would just stay that way.
