I have a Synergy V RC-U62 CDR remote from my cable company (RCN) which controls my Motorola DCH 3416. I tried programming the remote to control my Panasonic XR-55 A/V receiver. With code 438 the Panny shuts off but does not come back on. RCN said their remote doesn't work with all A/V receivers. I would think if it can make it turn off it is communicating with it.
I need the Panny to control the volume as the audio digital out from the 3416 to the Panny isn't controlled by the RCN remote.

Any work arounds that anyone knows of.
