This is a follow up to my original post which I deleted.

I have a HT in my den with an HD-DVD that I wish to share with the TV in my bedroom. It appears I can accomplish this with a monoprice hdmi switch and a Harmony 890. I currently own a Harmony 680 however it does not have the range or capability I need. The RF extender would sit in the den with one transmitter for the HD-DVD. I want to use my 680 in the bedroom. The only time I'd use the 890 in the bedroom is to view the HD-DVD. I don't want to share one remote among the two rooms. Would this work with no interference?
