Does anyone know why Comcast SportsNet looks so bad compared to other HD stations? Is it maybe cause they upconvert? I heard some stations do that. Anyways, what's the deal with this station?

What programs are you watching, is it all programs or certain ones? What is your source for this channel, Comcast, D*, something else? ch1sox 12-06-07, 12:32 AM I'm talking about Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the cable company is Comcast and I'm watching through HDMI. Comcast SportsNet is the only channel that has this problem. For instance, I just got done watching Bears Blitz and whenever the anchors are in studio their facial features look all blobbed and words on screen are jaggy. I know it's not just me too because my buddies looks even worse on his t.v. I'm watching it on a Samsung fp-t5884. In the past I had a 37" and it looked bad on that too. If the show was produced in HD I don't think you'd be seeing those issues. picaso 12-06-07, 10:08 AM Must be your STB. I get razor sharp PQ on all CSNHD shows. If you have Comcast have a service tech come out. I assume you already rebooted the STB by unplugging it from power? (and you are talking about CSNHD right? There is an SD version of CSN) Go Sox! ch1sox 12-06-07, 12:52 PM Must be your STB. I get razor sharp PQ on all CSNHD shows. If you have Comcast have a service tech come out.
