I have 2 DSM-510's. The first one I bought works very well but the second one will power up, display the blinking activity light on the front as if it's working but I cannot get any picture out of it. When I reconnect my good DSM to the same connectors it works fine so I know it's not the cables or TV.
The first time I hooked up the DSM to my tv I did get a picture. I went into the settings to indicate HDMI, etc. and now it won't display. Is there any way to reset the DSM without having to visually do it on the TV? Can I connect to it through a computer and reset it?
Has anyone else had this problem?
BTW - I have contacted DLink with this issue but their tech support is awful!!!! I don't understand how they offer tech support but don't ensure that they at least educate their staff on their products!!
