New at this forum, just got the Builder :-) nice...

i use max osx, bot got some movie folders with Tvixie, witch work fantastic, to clik on the remote at the movie runs...

but with gui builder, 3 click WHY! did i do somthing wrong ?

TVIXIE :


1 . you have all movis folders on screen

2. click ones on the movie you wanna see , and you have full size cover

3. and then play.. thats with tvixie

GUi Builder :

1 . you have all movis folders on screen

3. click again and you get 3-4 opsions , covers, jgp, at the movie ?? Why ?

4. and then play..

Does this software work with the latest WDTV live?

Every time MGB expires I am forced to try TViXiE.. Ughh... It always has trouble finding my movies. When this happens, you are out of luck or you play with (waste time) changing the title and retrying. Since I can always find an IMDB or Amazon URL to the movie, I simply drag & drop it using MBG, done. No time wasted. MGB is simply easier to use. MGB has too many features to name than TViXiE.

im running on imac, and cant use tvixie... So please get gui builder running again..... cant live whitout my movie covers:)

Even without pulling data from websites it still works well, just cut and paste from web images and text BUT now beta expiration means can't even open program.

Yep, that is why I love MGB too. Also with MGB you can change field widths on the fly to accommodate many situations (longer plot text, no rating, empty fields...whatever). With TViXiE, you need to play w/the template editor to adjust settings. It's not hard, but it takes more time. It's all about time for me.

I had a few hours to burn on the TViXiE template editor today and was able to create a few nice templates to carry me forward while MGB sleeps in expiration land. What a pain!!

any idea when the web data retrieval will be functional again? when you have a large catalogue, manual isn't very practical and is very time consuming.

anything else out there similar to this for mac? haven't been able to find anything and if this is the only one made for mac, it's a real disappointment that it's not getting updates.

Yep I'll agree with that - been using the program for several years and it's simply the best out there by far.

I'd be prepared to pay for it.

I like it very much and it's very easy to use.

Guys, Perhaps it's time to change to other solutions..

People must try TVIXIE, it's is an excelent one and have a lot of templates.

It can generate for other mediacenters as well, WD, Dune, etc...
