This unit appears to be available at DELL.COM although at LINKSYS.COM it says "available soon". There does not seem to be much information available on the Net about its features. Most of the writeups are from the initial product announcement.

It does seem to have some promise i.e. Ethernet and Dual-Band Wireless-N, high definition content up to 1080p, built-in up-scaling DVD, etc. Of course you need to use it with a PC that contains Microsoft Windows Vista Premium or Ultimate Media Center PC.

Anyone have more information or better yet some first hand knowledge??

Well, I have been waiting for a LONG time for these new extenders to come out.

The only thing which is holding me back now is that I need to found out if they will stream/play ripped DVDs from the MCE box.

If it does I'll buy two or maybe even three !

Well the 2100s are finaly shipping. I received my long awaited Christmas present today. I have only hooked it up and done the basics like stream an HD tv show, look at photos etc....
