All,
I recorded a file from ESPN using my R-5000 Hughes E8 (D*) mod. Recently I have come across files that I have been unable to edit successfully the MPEG2 streams. It is not a problem with all my recordings, but has happened more frequently lately. I have tried:
MPEG2Repair
VideoRedo Plus
Womble MPEG Video Wizard
Project X
MPEG Stream clip
I even tried using DGIndex to see if I could decode and possibly reencode, but none have worked. All come to the same problem spot and just stop and or give some abrupt ending. Also I notice that when I play the file with MyHD when it gets to the problem spot it plays the same couple of frames over and over as if it is stuck, but eventually gets back in synch.
Is there any tools available that I could use to help me edit and re-write a new *.ts file? Thanks.
