The last 30 Rock on my HR 20 missed the primary audio, only had the minor effects. I think this hapened before but I am not sure. Anyone else have this prolem? Is there some adjustment I might need to mnake for this channel?

Sounds like your NBC station (WDIV?) was only sending the L/R channels from the 5.1 feed. I don't know if this was national, but there's no other posts (yet). Can you tell if the recorded DD mode was 5.1 or 2.0? BTW this will probably get moved to a locals forum.

It was DD but I found out it was 3 wks ago and since recorded fine. Sorry.

Well, it's always DD, but was it stereo (2/0) or 5.1 (3/2L)? If it's still on the pvr you should be able to tell when you play it.
