I purchased Donnie Brasco on Bluray and it appears that the video along with the audio goes out for about 2 seconds and it gets progressively worse during the boat scene. I have the latest firmware and the ps3 is connected through HDMI to an Onkyo 605 receiver. I'm wondering if it's a bad disc (I checked it and doesn't have any scratches) or if the firmware is the culprit. :confused:

We have this Blu-ray movie and have not seen this problem on our PS3.

Alright, I'm going to go ahead and exchange it for another copy hopefully that's the issue.

Yeah exchange it, my copy works fine in the original PS3 60GB model.

K, I exchanged it and it only occured once. I rewinded back to that spot and it played it fine and didn't occur throughout the rest of the movie.
