Hi,

I appologize if this has been covered before, the I searched the site and found nothing.

I am running FW 2.01 and just tried to play Warhawk, which I have not played in a while.

An error occurred during the start up operation (80029752)

I am reading a myriad of things to do. First, I have not shared my copy of Warhawk, second, I deleted everything Warhawk related and re-downloaded it, and re-installed it. Third, I went and reset my system defaults in System settings.

I still get the same error. And of course I can't talk to anyone at the Sony hotline because it is not a 24 hr. hotline.

So, what the heck is going on? I have wasted way too much time with this tonigh, I am frustrated, and right now, my PS3 is turned off before I throw it through a window. These error messages really sink the user experience on this platform.

I had the same problem with my download version of Warhawk; it suddenly stopped working. I hate to tell you this but I got it working again by restoring the ps3 OS using a quick format (after backing up all my games saves to my thumb drive (except NFS:Carbon (bastards))). After I wiped it I downloaded again and reinstalled and it has been working since. I've been on the phone with Tech Support numerous times but they really couldn't help at all.

Thank The Nines I did not have call Sony tech. support. It works now that that I turned it on this afternoon. So frustrating.

Yup, mine used to only work when it wanted to and it was VERY frustrating and I logged about 5 calls with Sony about the issue. Fortunately, since the HD fomat it's been working when I want to play it.
