Hello,

i want to buy a multimedia player/server that can play all of my media files without any hassle! Now i'm more intrested in iso en avi files. But i recently buyed a HD Ready Beamer (Hitachi PJ-TX300), so in the future i want also watch Hd content and to be specific mkv files. I did some research and i did find 2 brands what support mkv files.
the DViCO TVIX HD M-5100SH http://www.tvix.co.kr/Eng/products/5100sh.aspx
and the Tomacro LimHD200i http://www.tomacro.com/english/index.htm
and maybe there are even more ??!?!???

I personanly am atrackted to the DViCO TVIX HD M-5100SH! Does this player has good picture quality and does it handles 720p en 1080p mkv's without a problem? Also can i use the HDMI for my beamer and still have sound iff i want to hook the optical cable to my sound reciever?

Thnx in advance!!

Btw i own a xbox360 and PS3 so i have also bluray and HD DVD disc's ;)

The only recommendation I have is to stay away from the LimHD200i.....if you want to see why be sure to carefully browse the two threads regarding the Tomacro LimHD in this forum. Lots of problems, basic problems with poor support, difficult return and exchange, lots of defective units shipped, way over priced...baseless claims and the threads are filled with imposters, agents, people who want to be agents.
