I've been trying to convert movie trailers downloaded from quicktime.com to 480x272 mp4 using psp video 9, and while the first 10-20 seconds actually look fine (oddly), it then gives an error that it can't play the file. The files are also smaller than expected for the length of the video file after converting with psp video 9. I'm mostly converting 480p quicktime trailers.
I searched another thread but not much info there. Anyone successful at converting quicktime trailers with any program and get them to play on the psp? Any help would be great.

I don't know if it could do the quicktime trailers, and sorry for not providing a link.

quicktime pro can do it, just download the .mov file, and use the "import as" function. what's nice about the converted trailers vs the ones downloaded from psn is these when in the ps3 will show a thumbnail size video of the trailer in place of the generic icons.

Thanks mikeny and jkcheng122, I'll try out those suggestions tomorrow at home. Seems I have no problem converting regular (e.g. non-HD) QT trailers using psp video 9, but only have problem with those HD ones, of which I only d/l the 480p trailers. It's odd b/c actually the first 10-20 seconds of the file that psp video 9 converts actually look great, but it just stops and gives an error message after that. It would great if importing the file will do the trick.

I actually find PS3 Video 9 works better, and it has all the PSP settings in it.
