I've bene trying to search to see if it supports online split screen, but I can't find any definitel answers? The few things I read point to no, but that it will support local split screen with bots?

Anyone heard anything "for sure" ?

Or would anyone try it when they buy it :)

I'm getting it either way, just curious if I can have my friends over to play or not as it seems like the type of game that would be great for that.

I'm hoping it functions in the same way as Warhawk but I also won't be surprised if it doesn't. I've read reports that contradict each other so I guess it's a wait and see kind of thing. Bots are still fun in the split screen, but it would be nice to go online with friends that are over. I never got that aspect of gaming until I was a friend's house and 8 of us rotated in groups of 4 playing Halo 3 online and I actually enjoyed. That's right, I said it....LOL.

At thsi point in time no. A lot of people are disappointed. The offical line from epic is "We're aware that some of our customers wanted splitscreen for the PS3 version of UT3. We hear you and will evaluate the feature for possible future updates to UT3."

That doesn't sound promising. Save your money for Haze or live with Warhawk and COD4 for now.

At least they address it at all. Even if they do nothing, they will probably take it more seriously in the future for other games.
