Hey guys! I was watching different movies this weekend annd noticed some of them seemed a bit grainy. I rented Ocean's 13 on Blu Ray and it seemed to have that problem. Then I watched a Shrek Christmas special wich seemed fine, and then my mother came over to watch some Oprah movie on ABCHD wich was also a bit grainy. I then switched to XMEn 2 again in HD wich didn't seem to have that problem. I seem to notice the problem whenever the colors are darker. My setting is at 1080i.

Also, on blurry backrounds, I seem to notice a bit of banding, but I'm thinking maybe that's normal, cause I don't see it in like, people's faces or whatever the camera is focused on...

I was wondering if that was normal on my set or if some cameras used for movies give that result, since it looks alot like the grainyness at the movies...

Hope someone can help me, as I have about 5 days left on my in store warranty...

Or is this normal and I,m just used to my set and seeing things I didn't see before?
