Hi all, I'm new here and I have heard nothing but good things about this site so I figure i'd start here.. First I apologize if this topic is in the wrong section or anything, or has already been addressed.

I have a TWC/Comcast SA 8300 HD box and last night it shut off and looked like it was updating. Is there a thread or anything like that, that tells what was in the update?? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, I suggest you check the local reception forum for an exisiting thread for your viewing area and see if anyone commented on an update or post your question to that thread (since an update on TWC wouldn't be rolled out to all of their viewing areas at the same time and you didn't mention where you are) or check the Recorders forum since it's more focused on DVRs.
