Hey guys I've searched this forum up and down and cant believe there isnt a clan already up and running for us AVS members who play COD4. This is probably the #1 or #2 most popular 360 game on Xbox Live and definitely deserves are group participation.

On the Playstation side of AVS.. they already have a TWW clan up and running. The have an established website and everything.

Is the name of the forum where people are communicating. Like I said the 360 section is brand new. So lets get it going strong.

I've already started the first post there under the 360 specific COD4 discussion to get clan related stuff going. Hopefully by this weekend we will have enough in the clan to make complete teams in the main MP matches.

We started as a small group here at AVS playing R6V. We created our own forum to use for smack talk and to not get kicked from AVS. The site has grown quite well on the PS3 side and I felt we should try to develop a 360 side too.

Right now there's so few us we can pretty much play whatever. I'm beginning to like the objective games of COD 4 more and more.

If you're looking for some objective play, count me in. I usually bounce between that and hardcore, depending on whether or not I need to rank up or unlock weapon attachments. Prestige 2, level 14ish

usually only play team death matches, but I'll play whatever the clan wants to play. also not too good with the objective games. hopefully i won't drag everyone down.

I wanted to mention there are no tryouts, seniority or anything like that. We just game to have fun. The tww site has other game forums too, meaning the group is not limited to playing cod 4. We can hook up rainbow, halo... anytime. Yes the site was geared to ps3 users but we've added new areas for 360 members. If you own both systems then feel free to hook up with whatever games you're palying on each system. We' re just glad to get everyone together to game and have fun.

Started playing HQ though.. too fun.. I ranked up from a 37 to a 40.. some matches I was getting almost 600 XP points!! HQ (with martydom) is easily the fastest way to rank up.

I just registered. I was playing with the daddy place guys too, but it's always nice to have options.

I'm not online much- played the beta, but just got the game last week. I play when I can and I'm OK, but having other folks to play with is always nice, especially for the objective oriented games. PUGs suck for that type of thing.

cool thanks. We were doing the same thing but switched. The tag issue was for R6V to aid in switching teams to keep all clan on the smae team. Other players were more helpful if they saw all the same tag.

I'll try to join in the future, but not quite ready. I played so many years on the PC, with the mouse, that I still cannot get the aiming down with the controller. Posted in here so I can keep track of the thread! Someday, if I ever learn how to use my right thumb well enough to hit the broad side of a barn, I'll try to join! :)

Um... I think you had one match at like 26 kills and 10 to 13 deaths (if I recall) ... Not to shabby. Uh yea that was a great audition. Thanks for hooking up with us too. We had a great time.

We played Halo 3 Coop one time before.

Just wanted to take a minute and say thanks to all that have gamed with us. On the other system our clan was founded for having a good time with a good bunch of people. We mostly would play private matches in R6V to stay away from the riff raff on the gaming network. Unfortunately that option's not available yet in COD 4 due to no ranking points for private rooms. It's really nice to power on either machine and know you'll have a group of gamers to game with almost anytime. And that those gamers play games how and why they're supposed to be played. How---> no glitching or camping. Why---> For fun. We have pretty limited time and we're looking to have the most fun while gaming in that short period of time.

That's where having a gaming group or clan comes in. It's a filter to keep in the good and block the not so good. So far it's working well. Some might not be the best at a particular game, but we laugh, joke, and have some fun.

I would be soooo there but I let my parents borrow my elite so that they can watch their HD-DVD Planet Earth while their XBOX is getting the repair treatment from MS. Hopefully that won't take long.

So far I am on PSN for a couple of weeks playing some COD4. It's soooo funny when people are such trash talkers (since they don't know that I play on XBOX and calling me a Christmas Noob) before a match and then subsequently get owned and more importantly shut up at the next pre-game lobby. Of course I can't talk because I am too friggin cheap to buy a bluetooth headset for my phone let along for PS3
