Hi all.
Have an elite that I use with HDMI. But my buddy just bought an Elite but doesn't have HDMI on his tv. He just placed an order for 360 component cables, I have no idea if you can run the components on these.

Anyone know? I'm guessing this just plugs into where the audio dongle would be, but just wanted to make sure. He hasn't opened yet, so I can have him return it for the premium.

Thanks.

of course it is backward compatible. Right next to hdmi is the av slot for component cables.

Perfect. Thanks very much.
Never noticed the slot but wasn't looking for either.

Thanks again.

Probably a waste of money to order cables when they are included in the box.

Yeah, I don't understand the OP's question. The system comes with the cables and there is a port for them right in the back, just like any 360 system.

Didn't recall any cables in mine, other than HDMI and audio dongle. Oh well, it's was only $16. Since I had no idea and made him buy the cable, I'll give him $20 and take the cables myself.

It definitely comes with the component cables.
