I recently upgraded my outside antenna and main living room to HD from DirectV. Been a great customer for close to 20 years. The Hughes Tivo, DualTuner I was using in the living room got moved to the Master. I had asked the CSR several times if my old Tivo units in the hous ewould work with the new Sat they were installing. They all told me yes. Well as soon as I would hook up my 2nd line to the Tivo it would say "Searching for Signal 2" I knew the signal was perfect. I was getting a 98 on the signal chart. The Tech came out finally. He said it was the box. I called D* and explained my problems. Remember I have 6 recievers in my house with all the sports and crap, so I am a pretty good customer in there eyes. They ended up giving me 2 new DVR Plus's for $50.00 and another free year of HD. Already have one free year with my latest upgrade. Think this is fair? What is the model # of the units they will be bringing? I cant remember. BTW, I was very nice to them, but very firm. The lady at the Custome rRetention Dept was very nice as well.

So they gave you $120 in credits and charged you $50 for the two receivers putting you $70 ahead. If you had pushed a little harder they might have charged you more.
