I was in my local BB last weekend and they had a couple dozen of the XBox360 Pro's out (white box - $349). Went back yesterday and they were all gone. Asked an associate and he said they pulled them all back due to a sale this coming Sunday. Anyone hear anything about that? :confused:

Kind of odd since that undle is advertised in this week's BB ad...

I think my wife is buying me the Elite(Forza2 M:UA) bundle. If they have a sale I will hint at her to wait until the weekend.

by sale, he probably just meant that they were going to be advertised in the ad next week, and they have to have a minimum quantity on hand when they ad starts...

it's like how when toys r us advertises Wii's in a sunday ad, they have to have some on hand and that's why you always see a line of people waiting for them on saturday night/sunday morning. the funny thing is that they get their shipment of Wii's before sunday, but they can't put anything out until sunday morning because they have some in stock for the ad, and there's nothing the people that come in on friday or saturday asking for them can do about it even thought they do have them in the stock room...

The ads for BB are posted in a lot places like CAG for one and there is no mention to a "sale". My local BB had at least 40 elites and pros stacked up at lunch today.

That doesn't sound like a sale if you can get 10% off at Target for opening a red card account ;)

That's what I though as well, but that same bundle thath they pulled off the shelves is also in THIS week's sale flyer. Kind of odd. I am going to check a different BB today. I am curious if it won't be on sale next week, but maybe bundled with a free controller, gift card, or something like that. I though it odd that they would be lower than the MSRP, which is 349.99 everywhere I have seen...

I went to the one in my city last night and they're having a 10% discount on all gaming products as part of their store closing liquidation. They still had a few 360 systems in various configurations available.

I was at the Cary, NC BB tonight and there's a hand-written sign advertising $50 off any combination of a Halo-edition XBOX 360 and any 2 games or 1 of several games on a list (GH3 is the only one I remember).

I havent seen Pro's or Elites in stock in weeks. On the other hand, there are always plenty of Halo 3 editions and Arcade editions. I think it was a big mistake making so many Halo 3 editions.....if only they werent so ugly and overpriced.

THey had all kinds of units at my local one yesterday but sadly no deals.

just picked up the pro last night at BB.

No deals got it for $349 came with marvel and forza (both useless).

But picked up GoW for 44.99 and COD4 for 39.99 with a coupon I got in the mail for $20 off any 360 game
