Hey, I recently got a sony 32s3000 lcd and an SA 8300HD
I connected the 8300 to the tv via hdmi and then used the optical out of the tv to my logitech z5500 speakers . When I tuned to a channel that's suppose to be sending dolby digital, the pod said it played via prologic II. I disconnected and plugged the optical straight from the STB to the POD and DD played as DD. Do I have to always plug the audio sources straight to the POD for DD ?
I am planning on getting a ps3 for blu-ray movies and was wondering if I would encounter the same problem
Thanks
