are there any media servers (sage, netgear eva8000hd, ect...)that you can connect to your computer to stream a bluray or hd dvd movie from one of the new lg dual format players in your pc and still have good picture quality. hopefully its over hdmi and runs on xp. this would be straight from disc and not a ripped file. or is there some other method to send the signal from your pc to tv that im missing.
thanks
sean

I just bought one of these from Aldi and have it dual monitor to my plasma you cant set it up as a clone as you don't get the HD from the LG disk drive but its ok if you set it as single monitor and manually switch

I would like to find this out too. I would suspect the protection of the files could prevent this from being a possible feature (i.e. streaming it to another device or location).

couldn't you rip an hd-dvd or blu-ray disk using the lg combo drive and anydvd hd edition to your harddrive into an ISO file and then any of the media streamers can stream it then? i don't think you can do it directly.
