Is there anyway to sign up for a 3 month or 1month xbox live gold subscription without going to the store and getting a card. Like can i just input a credit card number onto xboxlive and start playing it? I already have a silver account obviously and want to upgrade it to gold WITHOUT having to go to the store.

I realized something yesterday that is really silly. My Gold card-based subscription ended yesterday. I figured since I already have $40 worth of MS points chilling on my 360, I could just use some of those to buy another month or three of Live Gold. Nope.

I think it just reverts your account to Silver until you buy online/enter a code for Gold again.

My Gold status lapsed for a few days this year, but when I got a 12 month card, then entered the code, I was back on as Gold.

I was wondering when your free month of gold starts? Is it from date of purchase or from date of connecting online. Can you wait a couple of months and then use it? or do you have to use it the first month. thanks.

when u first connect it online. i didnt use my free month for almost 5 months after purchasing
