Can one of these war games take the throne from COD4? It's arguably the best war game to date. I tried Frontlines last night-not impressed. So, for me, that's one down. I actually think Battlefield:Bad Company and Brothers In Arms:Hell's Highway are the games with the highest production value, as well as the best contenders to de-throne COD4. But, Ive been most interested in the new Battlefield, since the first humorous trailer. I didn't much play Battlefield 2:Modern Combat. But, I wasn't impressed with what I did play of it. But, totally destructible environments and a totally new engine makes me wonder...that's it, just wonder. But, the early screenshots of Brother's In Arms:Hell's Highway-I believe about 2 years old-seem very impressive. So, which one or more of these games will be the next big war? Can one of these military shooters take the crown from Soap and the boys?

I have yet to play any of these so I can't say.

Just played the Frontline demo last night.

Was it just me or was this no good at all? I wasnt in the best mental state (half-drunk) while starting it up, but I was just so bored with it immediately.

Looking forward to Battlefield. Not sure about conflict. Probably a no go on Brothers in Arms unless if it gets good AVS gamer buzz or something.

I think that Battlefireld will be the game. I felt that the last game (Modern Combat) was very good, and to some degree, perhaps still better than COD4 (driving vehicles, tanks, flying helicopters), along with the medics, engineers (to fix the tanks when they are damaged), etc.

Definitely Battlefield.

I too played the demo for Frontlines and was not impressed. I hope they fix the frame rate issue.

COD4 is what all those games wish they could be.

CoD6 beats them all.

The last Battlefield for 360 was simply awful, but hopefully the next version will be closer to the PC ones in quality. Brothers in Arms is not really a competitor to COD4. It's more of a cross between COD and Full Spectrum Warrior. Definitely a different pace.

I guess I am one of the few who actually enjoyed the Frontlines demo and had no technical issues. For me the drones and vehicles are what separates it from other shooters available and makes it potentially more interesting. I'm not into multiplayer so any new twists to the single player campaign are more important to me. Battlefield and Conflict look good, Brothers in Arms isnt for me though.
