Philips Indoor UHF/VHF/FM Antenna Model #: PHL MANT510
Has anyone tried this indoor antenna? Cuircuit City sells them for $39.99.

It looks deadly, but is it better than the Silver Sensor?

the "rabbit ears" will give you VHF reception (channels 2-12). The silver sensor is UHF only and will not get lower VHF channels. The Phillips is amplified - that can help some or be a curse in areas with high multi-path problems. Since it's from CC, carefully keep the box and packing and take it back if it doesn't work.

I tried it, and I can honestly say that it was one of the worst powered models I've ever tried.

Thanks. I tried the Radio Shack powerered model that many people like and I could not get a single station. I get 12 stations with a Silver Sensor.

Same here. Even the unamped SS got more channels than the other one did at 41 miles out for me. The amped one got absolutely NONE! Even the cheap, noisy, Walmart RCA models performed much better.
You'd be better off just adding an amp to the regular SS. That's what I ended up doing (24dB, gain-controlled), and I was able to all of the UHF channels steadily then.
