I am having trouble streaming my DV AVI files to my television. I have a xbox 360, an Avel Link player 2, and an IO data networked hard drive with my edited home dv movies on it. The Avel Link sees the files but will not play the AVI file because of an unsupported codec. The Xbox doesn't see the files on the networked hard drivea t all.
Here are my questions-
1. Do I need to convert all of my files to another format so the AveL link will play them?
2. How Do I get my Xbox360 to see the hard drive (I'm using WMplayer 11 but i couldn't make it see the drive)?
3. If the Xbox could see the files, what would I need to do for it to play the AVI files?
4. Will software like TVersity help?
Thanks,
Scott
