View Full Version : Wah? Monoprice doesn't sell composite video cables??

I need a couple of video composites for some analog stuff I'm still using. I just browsed thru the cables on Monoprice and didn't see any *video-only* composite cables (only audio + video). Am I not looking hard enough or do they not carry them? Seems kinda strange that they wouldn't have them.

You mean just the yellow ended ones? Digital coaxial audio would do the same job.

Or buy an audio + video and let the audio parts dangle unhooked. Won't hurt anything.

Yeah, just looking for the single yellow ones. So a subwoofer cable would be fine for composite video? This is the one I'm thinking of getting:

Yep, that will work fine.

Yeah, I've done that, too. Although I'm not always sure how receptive people are to modifying their equipment like that. ;)

Thanks for the tip! I guess I'll get that subwoofer cable then.

I was thinking about getting an audio + video composite from Monoprice and just stripping the video off, but I wanted one of their premium-style cables and they didn't have any composites like that.
