Can someone help me with choosing the best OTA? I live about 40 miles away from the stations (see below- zip code 75035). It looks like it will need to be a combo UHF/VHF, correct? I will put the attenna in the attic? Can I install this on multiple HD boxes?

I'm in the process of switching over to Dish Network and will probably need to find someone to install.
What would this cost to have it installed? Anyone recommend a good installer?

Check the Local thread for your area HERE (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=453241).
You'll get answers from people who live in your area.

Just guessing, you'll need an outdoor antenna (VHF+UHF) and maybe a good low noise VHF+UHF preamp. A UHF fringe antenna that also receives VHF channels 9 thru 13 would work, too, eliminating a big combo antenna. Example here (http://www.warrenelectronics.com/antennas/4228.htm).

I use that CM4228 outside with a CM 7777 preamp and get a digital station on VHF channel 9 (KAFT-DT in Arkansas) very well. Distance from the station to me is ~45 miles.

Also check the FAQ sticky. All you need is right there.

There are also a few other open OTA threads going. Join into one of those, too.
